Just a place where I can think out loud and summarize what's going on. Not as personal as a journal, but enough to see the passage of time through life.
I'm thinking I might post a philosophical "question of the day" when I'm in such a mood. So for today, the question is, "If you put your heart and soul into a book, have you sold your soul to the publisher?"
I would say that you've merely chosen to allow the publisher to share your soul with the world, and from a student's perspective, this encompasses, but surely isn't limited to, pitching your light onto the road others have chosen as they search out the defining characteristics of their own selves.
Deep. And in that perspective, it is an honor for this humble soul to be shared with those seeking their path. But always be sure you find your own path, for those of us who serve as lights are not qualified to tell searchers which paths they should take. We can only communicate the wisdom and understanding of those on whose shoulders we stand.
